Spring is in the air! The sun is shining. Temperatures are rising. Before you turn twice it’ll be time for donning shorts, swimsuits and sun dresses. 

There’s something about the invigorating energy of springtime that makes eating lighter and healthier feel easy and natural. 

Learning or re-learning how to eat with the seasons is one of the best things we can do for our health, happiness and wallets. Food that is in season tastes better, is more nourishing and costs less. A triple win.

Foods that are in season (in the northern hemisphere) right now include: asparagus, artichokes, sweet onions, spinach, apricots, radishes, mangoes, strawberries, rhubarb, peas, and  leeks. 

Today I’m sharing a few easy healthy recipes that highlight these ingredients. Naturally light and nutrient rich they are the perfect way to jumpstart your weight loss in a nourishing way.
