    If your packing these for lunch put the dry ingredients on the bread and the wet ingredients in the middle, aka, bread, spinach, spread, spinach, bread. It keeps the bread from going soggy!😊

  11. @Liz P. You do not ‘treat’ neurological conditions with food. Neither does one put a kid on an unhealthy diet.

  12. @Liz P. No thank you. Again, If there was a cure for neurological conditions the whole scientific world would be bragging about it.

  13. Liz P. I believe that everything is good as far as it is moderate. A little wine every now and then won’t make you alcoholic unless you go for excessive amounts. More happens then: liver problems! Same goes for sugar and diabetes. It’s about balance in diet. Portion control is also relevant here. Obesity is a real problem in the US for a certain number of factors. I am not living in the US nor I am an America citizen. I am a French citizen so I do follow the standards prescribed by my government. There is a difference between sugar that indeed we should limit (sweets, a Starbucks coffee, chocolate, ‘hidden’ sugar where you do not except it..) and carbs. All sugar is carbohydrates but not all carbohydrates are sugars. Carbs are between 40% and 55% of a plate. That does not mean that by eating pasta or potatoes, a person is eating a stack of sugar. You claim that nobody bragged about helping me… Who told that keto cures autism? Who told me I would have the red pill while mentioning a documentary I never said I was interested in?

  29. These recipes all look great (and I look forward to trying them).
    But if, like me, you’re particularly interest in low-carbs, the issue here is you’re really getting hammered by the bread slices.
    If this is an issue for you, another option is to turn the sandwich into a “wrap” with a biggish leaf of lettuce (or cabbage).
    Alternatively, use the filling as a topping for a salad.

  36. I have a weird one. It’s not like my favorite but I find that it fills me up when I need a quick breakfast – two pieces of bread with one tablespoon of cream cheese on both (I used reduced fat). Cut up 3 strawberries into thin slices. Then put together into a sandwich. Optional, but adding raw spinach makes it look a lot prettier and doesn’t really change the flavor

  44. I have a suggestion for the first egg sandwich recipe. Instead of using low-fat mayo, use greek yogurt and skip the mustard. It’ll taste creamy and tangy and great!
